Hironobu Yuki was born in Tokyo in September, 1966. He received his Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering, and Doctor of Engineering degrees from the University of Electro-Communications in 1989, 1991, and 1994, respectively. He had been a research associate at the University of Electro-Communications from 1994 to 1999, an assistant professor from 1999 to 2003. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical and Intelligent Systems Engineering at the University of Electro-Communications. He has enjoyed the amateur radio as JN1OIK since 1981.
